This picture of a Christmas Goat, was taken in Lindsborg. Despite it's not so nice past of being an evil creature who demanded Christmas presents, a creature who pulled Thors wagon through the sky, a giver of Chrismtas present, and then later a poor thing to be slaughtered in some Swedish customs, poor goat!!! The Yule Goat is nowadays best known as a Christmas ornament, a figure, often made out of straw or roughly-hewn wood. I had to run to Lindsborg last week, and while I was there I ran to Scotts market to pick up Lingonberries. I plan to make Swedish pancakes soon.

God Yul, or Merry Christmas, on the top of the bridge. There are also lovely white lights. I wish I had been there at night.

McPherson main street decorations. They look very nice.

And then the ummmm yeah part of the show, LOL. This was up at Halloween with a witch or something in it. SO okay Halloween I guess I get, but not sure about the Santa in the porta potty... So there I will try to post more later.

Sorry, I had to chuckle at Santa in the porta.
I love the goat, bridge, and other decorations.
